The functional testing includes testing of your digestive health and microbiome, hormone testing, organic acids and genetic tests. We can also look deeper at all the major nutrients. Much of the work we do centres around understanding how we can optimise your health and resolve chronic, long standing health problems.
The Health Engineer offers the following accredited functional tests, and more:

I have trained through the Kalish Institute in the USA - the world leader in functional medicine testing - studying how to interpret complex lab data to solve common complaints like fatigue, weight gain, depression, digestive problems and hormone imbalances.
You can conveniently order test kits through our website. However, as part of our commitment to your well-being and in line with our practice policy, we require you to schedule an Initial Consultation with Helen to discuss your test results.
Please note, the Initial Consultation fee is not included in the test kit cost and has to be purchased separately. The cost of the consultation is $275 for one-hour. It's important to note that we do not release test results prior to the Initial Consultation.
Your results will be provided via email once the Initial Consultation has begun. Helen will provide you with her recommendations and next steps based on her analysis of your test results.
Once we've received your specimen for testing, all test kit purchases become non-refundable. If you decide to cancel your order before we've received your specimen for testing, a $50 administration fee will be applied.
Follow up consultations, health coaching and nutritional coaching sessions and retesting labs all happen as needed for each individual.
